VASS Statement on Resignation of State Superintendent Lisa Coons from VASS President Keith Perrigan

VASS has deeply appreciated the service of Superintendent of Public Instruction Lisa Coons to students, educators, and schools in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  She has been visible in every region in the Commonwealth highlighting excellence in our public schools, and her passion for literacy is only matched by her love for students. We wish her well as she pursues new professional opportunities.
